Friendship is a promise made in the heart,
unbreakable by distance,
unchangeable by time.

This is inscribed on a gift Meowvatar gave me yesterday when we were cradled about 8000 feet in the air surrounded by Colorado Rocky Mountains. We didn't have snow yet but I'm guessing our noses were moist.

We were not flying in a plane but flying nevertheless.....

That is because she herself is a gift.

atm I am in Central North Carolina waiting for my New York plane and there are a lot of people right here with me.

All the right ones, too. Some from way across the ocean.

They can ride on my ticket and I am getting a really good deal.
In fact, the best one of my whole life.

A promise made in the heart. Repeatedly.

ooop posting comes and goes with where my computer is or isn't at any one time. Gmails seem to go on forever, though!

Bottom line is that computers are lots easier to find than walls to hang your gift on, though..... at the moment!

eeep here I am in NYC, in the balcony of one of my fave haunts, The Drama Book Shop on West 40th and 8th Avenue, and they are wired!! Wireddddd!! OMG I had no idea at all. And I even brought my laptop!! YAY!

Hmmmm ... I may be developing wireless addiction here. Have to come back to Estes Park for the cure.

*smiles* There ya go!

I would love to see NYC someday as an adult. Went as a kid and I remember being really overwhelmed in a really good way. :)

And in late news, my laptop quit working this morning. Don't think it's a virus, hopefully; it won't boot up past the opening screen message "no TPM or TPM has a problem". So.

It's not the power sources: both AC converter and battery test out fine.

Back to Staples, there happens to be one across the street. Of course it's not the one where I bought it ....

Maybe Beagley will be able to troubleshot after all! Or one of his talented friends. They are all 363 miles away in the wrong direction atm.

Just what I need this morning!

No kidding! You've had quite a few unexpected problems lately!
