kiota and arms that hold

It's not so much closure as another point of view from the bridge, the long and winding road atop this very beautiful bridge she offers us. But I've found all the answers I've needed to make sense of the suffering in that part of her life. Now for the light <3

Two from the heart:

Love is the only thing in life that, no matter how much you give away, you're always going to have more left over.
======

"Life has loveliness to sell:
Buy it, and never count the cost!
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Music like a curve of gold;
For one white singing hour of peace,
Count many a year of strife well lost:
Life has loveliness to sell,
Buy it, and never count the cost."

=======

The poem is part of "Barter" by Sara Teasdale and the thought above it is traditional. And, timeless.

What a beautiful poem! It's my new "Thought To Live By."

Thinking of you as you continue to grieve Kiota.

Thanks, mew. It means a lot to me.

There's more to the poem, the "Life has loveliness to sell" line is a classic one; you can google Sara Teasdale or that line and you'll have it all.

Sara was quite the pioneer in her time for women: she won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry the first time there ever was one.
