
She got going really fast, too, keeping up perfectly with the other musicians.
There were two vertical racks of bamboo pipes, one with three columns of pipes and another with two. They were testing light colors during this, thought they got some great effects. This is the triple one:

These are played with mallets having cloth sheaths over the hammer-bodies. At the back of the stage is another musician tuning a horizontal stringset of some kind, like a multistring horizontal guitar she played by plucking it:

And I was wrong, there were really four parts to the concert; in this one they wore white gowns and lace-patterns on their arms, a long train-like veil reaching almost to the floor, here's the finale of that in beautiful colors:

Their whole concert series was ten perfs of the same show, over seven days on two quite different stages in the Festival. Each perf was about one hour and a quarter.
