twee tiener

Two teenagers, at very different earth times:

Within the stars, it's measured way differently of course.

They were at the same age, one about 341 years before the other one. They both love Holland.
And art, of course. Each has been a model. For lots more than simply what you see here.

So this day and evening, age does not matter since eternity is the scale.

Merry meet, and merry part, and merry meet again.

Brad, that is eerie. I just looked at these pictures for the longest time.

Eerie, yet comforting. Thanks for posting this.

Well, when I looked for that longest time too... soyeah.

I guess I would say for me, that it was comforting first, eerie second. She didn't like the 2004 / 05 photo at all because she complained it was "too grainy". But it has put a whole different POV onto the reasons why I love the Vermeer so. And have for a long time, well before she and I met, now that I think of it.

It's what we cannot know, in this life, about time travel or parallel realities {or what we cannot know about the fact that someday "time" will vanish for each of us} that's both intriguing *and* eerie...
